Total Life Changes Class Action Litigation
Have You Purchased Iaso® Instant Tea from Total Life Changes?
On February 1, 2021, our firm filed Friday v. Total Life Changes, LLC, seeking certification as a class-action. The Complaint alleges that Total Life Changes, LLC (“TLC”) has sold products to consumers with the reputation that they were THC-free when, in fact, the products contained THC. TLC’s raspberry flavored Iaso® Instant Tea with broad-spectrum CBD was labeled and advertised to consumers as containing “0.0% THC.” However, as alleged in the Complaint, lab testing has revealed that these claims are untrue.
Here is a copy of the Complaint.
The individual plaintiffs in this case both claim they lost their jobs as a result of consuming TLC’s raspberry flavored Iaso® Instant Tea and then testing positive for THC in employer drug tests. However, as the Complaint points out, there are many other contexts in which someone could test positive for THC after consuming this product, including for drug tests administered as a condition for parole, for parental reunification, or to determine whether someone has been driving under the influence (“DUI” or “DWI”).
We are currently in the early stages of this case and seeking more information from people who have experience with this product. If you purchased TLC’s raspberry flavored Iaso® Instant Tea and have additional information you can provide, we invite you to contact us by filling out the form below.
